June 2020 - Black Lives Matters Movement
During June 2020, our advocacy manager Ella Rose Steven, compiled a guide for peaceful protesting and police rights in light of New Zealand wide protests regarding the Black Lives Matter movement. See ‘EJP’s Little Guide to peaceful protesting and knowing your rights’.
June 2020 - Waitematā low carbon network (WLCN)
Over the past few months, our Advocacy team has been busy working with WLCN to advocate for climate change accountability. Assisted by Dr. Grant Hewison and Prue Taylor, in June 2020, they created an educational video outlining the role which both Auckland and the Council have in regard to climate change.
